Philaenus spumarius

- Body length
- 6 mm
- Order

Weird but real
Holds the insect high-jump record: launches at ~400g acceleration and clears 70cm, over 100x its own body length.
Why it's cool
A 6mm bug that out-jumps a flea and raises its young inside self-made spit foam. Nature's overpowered pocket athlete.
